Rev. 17-18 Judgment of the Great Harlot
The enemy may seem to be powerful and mighty, but this power and might is rendered false when God comes into the picture. This is especially true with powerful nations like Babylon and Rome that opposed God and His people. All throughout the Old Testament, prophets such as Isaiah and Jeremiah foretold the fall of nations and warned God’s people to not trust in the apparent power of such nations because they ultimately have no power. These nations may seem like big, strong, and scary beasts, but they are no challenge for God. These nations opposing God and His people will be judged for their iniquity, because God is a just God, and justice must be served. Please listen in to today’s lesson as we bring these concepts to light through our teaching on chapters 17 and 18 of the book of Revelation.
