The Authority of God and His Word
No one likes being told what to do. We pride ourselves in being independent thinkers, free to make our own decisions. However, when we consider the most important subjects of life, we need help, correction, and guidance. God has the authority to tell us what to do. He does so in his word the Bible, and it is for our good.
