Lev. 21-23 A Holy Priesthood
God expects His people to reflect His character and holiness in all areas of life. He especially wants this of those who lead His people. In Leviticus 21-23, we examine the holy qualities at work in the lives of priests and high priests in the Old Testament. Chapter 22 helps us to understand what it meant to sacrifice - trusting in the LORD, giving him our best according to his standards. In Leviticus 23, we discuss the feasts of the LORD that called Israel to remember the great acts of God, and then we connect to the New Testament to see how Christians remember and serve Christ.
